Hull full-back Andy Robertson is around a fortnight away from fitness, according to head coach Mike Phelan.

The 22-year-old Scotland international has not featured for the Tigers since injuring his calf in the 6-1 defeat by Bournemouth on October 15.

But he has started outdoor training again and should return to the first-team fold in December.

Hull have been short of senior cover on the left side of defence since Robertson was ruled out and handed a debut to 17-year-old Josh Tymon in the 3-0 loss away at Sunderland on Saturday.

"Andy is back outside now," said Phelan.

"He's doing work and preparation for being fit probably in two weeks' time. We have to be a little bit careful because calf injuries have a habit of reoccurring.
