Trialists look to win deals at Walkers Stadium

Leicester City have taken three players on trial as they consider bolstering their squad ahead of the Christmas schedule. Cameroon keeper Joslain Mayebi, Greek midfielder Ilias Kyriakidis and Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi have all joined the Foxes on a trial basis. Mayebi, who has been called into the senior Cameroon squad but remains uncapped, has previously spent time on trial with Preston. The former Metz, Maccabi Nazareth and Dinamo Bucharest shot-stopper is now trying his luck with Leicester. Kyriakidis is a free agent after leaving Larissa following a three-year stint with the club. Benin international Omotoyossi cancelled his contract with FC Metz prior to the transfer window closing in August. He has since attempted to win deals with Blackpool and Swansea, but he is hoping he will have more luck with Leicester. "Generally we are just looking at players at the moment," said assistant boss Derek Fazackerley. "Players get offered to us and, while we have the opportunity with good weather and good training conditions, it would be wrong not to have a look at them."
