Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri says he has forgotten about their exploits last season and is focused on the 2016/17 campaign.
Ranieri led the Foxes to a sensational Premier League title success last term but now he is looking to the future, starting with Sunday's Community Shield against Manchester United at Wembley.
The Shield acts as the traditional curtain-raiser to the domestic campaign and Ranieri thinks both teams will be determined to start out on a high.
"This is not a friendly," said the Italian boss on Friday. "Of course we will be at the maximum and Manchester United
will be at their maximum. Both teams want to win it, I am very excited.
"All managers and players want to play at Wembley, it is one of the most famous stadiums in the world. I expect a very strong and well-organised Manchester United team.
"Jose (Mourinho, new Manchester United boss) always tries to win and his career speaks for itself.
"We've lots of respect for everybody but we want to beat everybody. We try our best every match, we give our maximum.
"I forgot what happened last season, now my focus is on the new season. We're ambitious but know it will be very hard."
Leicester were beaten 4-2 by Barcelona in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday but Ranieri says his team are in good shape and are ready for their Wembley date.
"The players recovered very well," he said.
"Everybody is okay. Today (key forward) Jamie Vardy trained very well and I'm very pleased."
Vardy has recovered from an arm operation, stemming from when his fractured his wrist last September, but is likely to wear a protective cast.
Leicester's players have been given a brand new BMW i8 each as a reward for winning the title and Ranieri is wondering when his will arrive.
"Some gifts are only for them? Not for me?" he asked. "I want to speak with my owner!
"I am thinking about the match, not about the cars."
