Leicester's new striker Ahmed Musa scored two great goals in 20 minutes against Barcelona in the International Champions Cup

Ahmed Musa almost sparked a stunning Leicester City comeback against La Liga champions Barcelona, as the half-time substitute scored two superb goals and transformed the game to give the Foxes hope of an unlikely comeback.

Leicester's summer signing came on with his side three goals down after a one-sided first half in Stockholm on Wednesday night, but announced himself on the match in some style in the 47th minute.

Ahmed Musa of Leicester City FC celebrates after scoring the first of his two goals in a 4-2 pre-season defeat to Barcelona in Stockholm.

There seemed little danger when Musa was picked out inside his own half, but the striker spun past his marker, burst into Barca territory and used his blistering pace to hold off the attention of a number of defenders before picking out the bottom corner with a clinical finish.

It was an astonishing goal, but Musa wasn't done yet. Jeffrey Schlupp won the ball back out on the wing and the Nigeria international's quick feet set himself up for a second goal that would have caught the eye even more, were it not for the brilliance of his opener.
