Inter Milan keeper Luca Castellazzi claims a head injury he sustained on Sunday is not serious.
Inter Milan keeper Luca Castellazzi claims a head injury he sustained on Sunday is not serious.
The veteran shot-stopper took a hefty blow during a friendly encounter with Galatasaray.
He lasted just seven minutes of that contest before being stretchered from the field.
A collision with Turkey international Colin Kazim-Richards left him grounded and requiring treatment.
It was initially suggested that the former Sampdoria player could be sidelined for a prolonged period of time.
He has, however, undergone precautionary medical tests and has been given the all-clear.
Castellazzi is now expecting to return to training in midweek, as Inter step up their preparations for the 2011/12 campaign.
"Little by little it's coming back to me," he told the club's official website.
"The tests were negative and all the results were fine. I'm okay.
"The signs were already looking good yesterday but I'm even more relaxed about it now, 100 per cent calm. I've slept well and will be with my team-mates on Wednesday."
Castellazzi's injury overshadowed a poor showing from Inter and Galatasaray, as their game ended goalless.
