Morecambe secured their first win in 11 games with two goals in four minutes in a 2-1 League Two victory over 10-man Wimbledon.
Following an uneventful first half, the Shrimps opened the scoring after 76 minutes through substitute Andy Fleming and Jamie Devitt's penalty doubled their lead before George Francomb reduced the deficit late on, with the visitors losing Ryan Sweeney to a second-half red card.
Rhys Murphy had the ball in the back of the net for the Dons in the first half but was adjudged offside.
The game had seen chances at both ends with Morecambe keeper Barry Roche making excellent stops from Barry Fuller and Sean Rigg at one end and Alex Kenyon heading just over at the other.
While, deep into the second half, midfielder Fleming had only been on the field for a few minutes when he lashed home the loose ball from 12 yards out after Shaun Miller's shot had been blocked by Wimbledon defender Fuller to break the deadlock.
Wimbledon almost replied seconds later when Lyle Taylor outpaced Andy Parrish but saw his final effort smash against the left-hand post.
It proved to be an expensive miss as the home side doubled their advantage on 80 minutes from a penalty. Sweeney pulled back Tom Barkhuizen in the box and received a straight red card before Devitt sent Kelle Roos the wrong way from the spot.
Francomb made sure of a nail-biting finish with a goal after 90 minutes when he produced a fine right-footed finish to beat Roche from the edge of the area.
Seconds later the Dons should have equalised but substitute Ade Azeez missed an open goal after Roche had saved superbly from Taylor.
