Luton clinched the Sky Bet League One title with a 3-1 victory over Oxford at Kenilworth Road.
The Hatters knew a final-day win would be enough, and they did so in style courtesy of a brace from George Moncur that sandwiched a strike from Elliott Lee, with Luke Garbutt pulling one back for Oxford when the score was 2-0.
The Hatters settled any nerves by taking the lead in just the third minute when Moncur curled a fine finish beyond the statuesque Simon Eastwood.
Jamie Mackie should have levelled when clean through, only for James Shea to make a fine save low to his right.
Town striker James Collins then saw a volley excellently saved by Eastwood on the half hour.
Eight minutes after the break Lee doubled Luton's advantage, picking out the top corner after good work by Moncur and Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu.
After Eastwood denied Lee a second, the visitors pulled one back on the hour with Garbutt netting on the rebound after Gavin Whyte had struck a post.
Mpanzu and Pearson were then denied by Eastwood, while Browne looked poised to level but Shea blocked well.
Town, though, guaranteed themselves the trophy in the 73rd minute, with Moncur firing home from close range to take his tally to 11 for the season.
