Carlos Bacca scored the opener and then teed up Kevin Gameiro's late winner as Sevilla stole a 2-1 victory from their Andalusian rivals Granada. Bacca fired Sevilla into a 23rd-minute lead but when Yacine Brahimi equalised from the penalty spot on the hour it was Granada that looked the most likely winners. The home side pressed for a winner only to be caught out three minutes from the end by substitute Gameiro as Sevilla made it a hat-trick of wins in the Primera Division. Unai Emery's side made the early running and were denied a fifth-minute opener by the goalkeeping of Roberto, who kept out a Diogo Figueiras at close quarters with his feet. Sevilla deservedly went ahead on 23 minutes when Bacca made the most of a defensive error. Jeison Murillo failed to deal with a simple ball forward and to compound matters fell over as it dribbled through for Bacca who took a couple of touches before thrashing a low 20-yard shot across Roberto. Sevilla goalkeeper Beto was forced into action for the first time on 38 minutes to tip away a Piti header. From the following Fran Rico corner Hassan Yebda headed wide. Granada started to step up their pressure and Brayan Angulo shot wide from range before Youssef El Arabi got in a weak shot from close range, which Beto could still only tip behind. The home side picked up where they left off after the beak with Beto making his best save yet to deny Yebda's 25-yard volley before getting his fingertips to a Fran Rico drive. Granada's fightback was rewarded on the scoreboard as they levelled on the hour when Daniel Carrico was whistled for handball in the area. Brahimi tucked away the penalty and the now dominant hosts had half an hour to press for a winner. They were on the front foot for the majority, although Roberto had to make a good save from Bacca, before Piti twice went close. But it was Gameiro, who had only come on for the last 10 minutes, that had the final say as he tucked in from Bacca's assist.
