Ched Evans struck late on to hand dominant Fleetwood a deserved 2-1 victory against Rochdale.
Evans darted in to head home Danny Andrew's fizzing cross in the 87th minute as the hosts comfortably extended their unbeaten home start to the campaign.
Rochdale struck early when Luke Matheson headed the ball precisely into the path of Rekeil Pyke, and he steadied before firing low past Alex Cairns from six yards.
It should have been two when Ian Henderson somehow scooped an effort over the top from even closer in and then Fleetwood levelled in the 22nd minute.
Andrew was not picked up at the far post as he coolly converted Wes Burns' out-swinging cross.
Fleetwood almost made it 2-1 before the break when Evans fired narrowly over from an acute angle.
Close to the hour mark Fleetwood's Josh Morris curled in a shot which goalkeeper Robert Sanchez saved well. Andrew then curled a free-kick over the crossbar.
Evans flicked a header narrowly wide shortly before eventually scored what proved to be a deserved winner.
