USA let half-time lead slip in Aarhus
Denmark came from behind to beat fellow 2010 World Cup qualifiers the United States 3-1 in Aarhus.
The hosts were indebted to substitutes Johan Absalonsen, Soren Rieks and Martin Bernburg for the victory following Jeff Cunningham's first-half opener.
The USA were in front after 26 minutes when Cunningham took advantage of a poor clearance from Denmark keeper Thomas Sorensen to fire home.
But Denmark coach Morten Olsen's substitutions paid dividends as Absalonsen drew the home side level in the 47th minute.
Absalonsen had only been introduced at half-time and he latched on to Simon Kjaer's long ball to finish confidently.
Rieks, who also came on at the break, then put Denmark in front on 52 minutes when he collected a pass from Absalonsen to score.
And Bernburg made certain of the victory just three minutes later as he was teed up by Jakob Poulsen to score Denmark's third.
