Brad Inman grabs late equaliser as Crewe draw 3-3 with Bury
Saturday 22 August 2015 22:38, UK
Brad Inman stole a point for Crewe as his late strike earned a 3-3 draw against a dominant Bury.
The Shakers twice came from behind and looked ready to secure their first win of the campaign until the Australian attacker struck in the 80th minute.
Crewe, who have yet to register success this term, were off to a flyer in the third minute when on-loan midfielder Adam King clipped the ball into the top corner after Chris Hussey failed to clear his lines.
But the Railwaymen were soon on the back foot, and Tom Pope and Danny Rose bungled a straightforward finish after a defensive slip had allowed the former to run clear. The striker was denied by Crewe goalkeeper Ben Garratt, who then reacted quickly to keep out Rose's follow-up.
Bury were level after 23 minutes thanks to Danny Mayor. The winger took a pass from Hussey and cut in from the left by-line before finishing right-footed under Garratt.

Crewe restored their lead when Ryan Colclough followed in Billy Bingham's free-kick at the far post and shot home in the 37th minute.
However, more slack defending allowed Tom Soares to turn and fire Bury level again on the stroke of half-time.
After the break, Colclough drove a blistering effort against the near post in a rare Crewe attack, but their tormentor-in-chief Rose applied a rising finish to Hussey's cutback as the Shakers went ahead in the 58th minute.
The visitors piled on the pressure but were denied by Garratt, and they were caught on the break when Inman charged clear and cut infield before finding the bottom corner.
