Coventry leapfrogged Fleetwood into fourth place in Sky Bet League One after coming from 1-0 down to beat the Cod Army 2-1.
Second-half goals from Zain Westbrooke and Amadou Bakayoko were enough to see the Sky Blues move to within three points of leaders Peterborough, Ipswich and Wycombe.
Fleetwood took a deserved lead through the in-form Paddy Madden after nine minutes.
Ched Evans beat the offside trap to connect with an inswinging cross from the right and his effort hit the inside of the post before trickling across the Coventry goal line allowing Madden to tap it in.
Despite their dominance throughout a one-sided first half, Fleetwood fell foul of a Coventry equaliser in the 59th minute.
Coventry left-back Sam McCallum's fierce half-volley from just inside the box was well saved by Alex Cairns, but Bakayoko was their to smash the rebound past the keeper and into the net.
In a complete turnaround, Coventry then took the lead after 67 minutes through Westbrooke.
The midfielder calmly slotted a penalty past Cairns after Max Biamou was fouled by Jimmy Dunne.
