Substitute George Miller rescued a point for Bury as his 83rd-minute strike secured a home draw against fellow League One strugglers Blackpool.
Miller turned the ball home from close range to cancel out Sean Longstaff's opener and prevent what would have been a ninth defeat in 10 league games.
Awful pitch conditions did not help either side in a disappointing opening period.
Blackpool's Kyle Vassell should have scored, but he fired wide after racing clear of the Bury rearguard.
Nathan Delfouneso was also guilty of a poor miss as he failed to convert Longstaff's cross from just a couple of yards out.
Bury's best chance of the first half fell to Zeli Ismail, who was denied by a superb Joe Lumley save following a mazy run.
The Seasiders opened the scoring in the 53rd minute, with Longstaff volleying home low from 30 yards after a Callum Cooke free-kick had not been cleared.
Bury tried a swift reply, but Danny Mayor's strike took a deflection before flying narrowly wide.
Substitute Harry Bunn was then denied in the 75th minute when his excellent shot on the turn was beaten away by Lumley, but Bury were able to salvage a draw thanks to another of their replacements, with Miller netting a late leveller.
