    Brett Pitman and Alan Connell sealed Bournemouth's return to League One with a 2-0 win over Burton.

    Brett Pitman and Alan Connell sealed Bournemouth's return to Coca-Cola League One with second-half goals in a 2-0 win at Pirelli Stadium. Pitman's 27th strike of the campaign set the Cherries on their way to an automatic promotion spot with two games to spare and it comes just two years after dropping into the bottom division. Victory was ensured when Connell came off the bench to score with his first touch in the 90th minute Pitman had chances to add to his 26-goal tally in a closely-fought first half. Burton's defence finally yielded in the 67th minute when Pitman pounced to hook home from 10 yards. Connell put the icing on Bournemouth's promotion cake when he bundled in Anton Robinson's left-wing cross with his first touch.
