Cherries beat Notts County 2-1 to maintain promotion push
A first-half brace from Danny Hollands helped Bournemouth maintain their promotion push at Notts County's expense.
The Cherries might have been out of sight by half-time after turning on the style to beat play-off contenders County 2-1.
Eddie Howe's side never looked back after Hollands headed them in front after just 90 seconds from a Rhoys Wiggins' corner.
They then ripped the Magpies defence to shreds, with Kasper Schmeichel saving brilliantly from Brett Pitman in between a series of near misses by Marvin Bartley and Hollands.
Bournemouth's domination warranted a second goal, which came 10 minutes before half-time, with Pitman feeding Hollands to make it 2-0 despite a valiant effort from Schmeichel.
Neal Bishop clawed a goal back for the visitors from 12 yards five minutes after the restart, but that was all the Magpies could manage as they slumped to their first defeat in eight matches.
The victory sees the Cherries move to within three points of League Two leaders Rochdale, while County sit in the last play-off berth.
