Adam Campbell saved Notts County from an FA Cup shock with a second-half double as non-league Boreham Wood squandered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2.
Half-time substitute Campbell curled in a 20-yard strike before heading home a Carl Dickinson corner with seven minutes to spare to earn a first-round replay.
National League side Boreham had looked set to upset the former winners when Morgan Ferrier and Angelo Balanta gave them a two-goal advantage.
Former Arsenal and Crystal Palace youngster Ferrier latched onto a Balanta through ball to slide the Wood towards an upset after 31 minutes, the striker's eighth goal in as many games.
The Wood thought they had beaten a Football League side for the first time in 68 years when ex-QPR speedster Balanta cleverly controlled and fired home a Bruno Andrade centre to double the lead five minutes after half-time.
But Campbell's double made sure County did not fall at the first round once again, fresh from memories of last season's defeat to Salford City.
His first was a stunning bending strike which nestled into the bottom corner on the hour mark following a Matt Paine blunder, his second an opportunistic bobble at the back post.
The visitors thought they had won it in stoppage time but Vadaine Oliver was adjudged offside.
