Lincoln were denied a first away win since August after a last-gasp Kwesi Appiah equaliser saw AFC Wimbledon secure a 1-1 draw at Kingmeadow.
Jack Payne put the visitors ahead before Appiah's stoppage-time equaliser saw the spoils shared in Glyn Hodges' first game as full-time Dons manager.
Dons' goalkeeper Nathan Trott made two good early saves to keep out Michael O'Connor and Tyler Walker.
Walker was once again frustrated after a fine team move before Payne was superbly denied by the keeper.
Payne finally netted when he finished a counter-attack with a neat strike at the near post.
Just before the break Josh Vickers superbly kept out Mitch Pinnock, and the keeper had to be alert to tip Brentford loanee Marcus Forss' effort over before acrobatically denying Joe Pigott.
Bruno Andrade should have wrapped up the points with 10 minutes to go when his strike was kept out.
Anthony Wordsworth lashed wide but Wimbledon earned their point when substitute Appiah headed home Luke O'Neill's pinpoint cross deep in added time.
