FALLING ANGEL can come out best of the once-raced fillies but it will be interesting to see what the market makes of debutantes Babylonian and Sweet Sonnet. Paul Cole reportedly has a nice bunch of juveniles and both this one and a stablemate attracted support ahead of their debuts in a fair Goodwood maiden. Both ran decent races behind a more experienced rival and weren't given too hard a time in the process; she can be expected to improve for that. Improvement can also be expected from Venture Girl as she should be sharper now and the trainer's runners here are always respected. Jeanie Johnston handled the ground at Haydock better than most and this sister to Marine Boy should be better suited by the quicker conditions on offer here. Babylonian hails from a respected yard but is stoutly bred and could find that some of her opponents are too precocious; the market will be useful. Sweet Sonnet is related to a top class dirt performer in the States and could make a useful juvenile; the yard's juveniles are off the mark for the season and it would be no surprise to see her go well but we'll side with Falling Angel.
