Reve de Soleil gets the narrow vote in this maiden; the list of dangers is headed by Mill Pond and Herring Senior. The selection shaped with plenty of promise on his debut when he finished fourth behind Lord Shanakill. He should come on plenty for the experience and he looks the one to beat. Mill Pond is a well-bred filly and she makes plenty of appeal; if the market were to speak in her favour then it could pay to take the hint. Herring Senior was a little disappointing on his debut, but this extra furlong should play to his strengths and that may help to bring about an improvement. Cutting Comments showed promise on his debut, but that was on soft ground so it remains to be seen how he gets on now that he races on faster ground. Reve de Soleil looks the percentage call and gets the pick.
