In depth

Verdict

Four of these are trained by Paul Midgley and three hail from the Tim Easterby yard. Josh Moore’s mount Nibras Again may be the pick of the former’s quartet and last week’s Ayr third Excessable may be the best of the latter’s trio as he’d also run well at Thirsk the time before. Gin In The Inn ran well here back in October and Daryl Jacob rides while Fendale is only 4lb higher than when landing this 12 months ago and seems sure to be in the firing-line again. ROMAN RIVER’s progress stalled a little after he won at Haydock a year ago but he looked to be back on track when just beaten at Newmarket in April and he has the potential to be better than these.
