Air Raid faces a much tougher task raised a further 8lb and upped in class as he bids for a hat-trick though never looked like getting caught at Hamilton last time. He’s drawn on the opposite side to York runner-up Cosmic Law and 5f winner Mokaatil while Deep Intrigue scored off a higher mark here back in February. But DALTON finished a long way ahead of a below par Brian The Snail when scoring at Nottingham last time and there looks more to come from him this year as he debuts on the all-weather. Katheefa has already won three times this year and may figure while Staxton is 5lb lower than when finishing fourth in last year’s renewal.
