        Verdict

This looks wide open as it features seven previous course and distance winners. Richard Fahey arrives mob-handed and, of his five runners, top weight George Bowen and Great Prospector make most appeal, though the latter drops back a furlong and may be better on a slower surface. Tim Easterby has a trio of runners and the handicapper is giving Golden Apollo every chance of getting back to winning ways. Quick Look landed a gamble at Chester and Intisaab has been running better than form figures would suggest since returning from Dubai but WENTWORTH FALLS is a model of consistency and almost certain to run his race again – he deserves to get his head back in front. Gulliver and Lake Volta are also worthy of respect.
