Prospect Court absolutely loves the sort of hock deep mud he will encounter here and despite a fair hike in the weights it would be unside to desert him now, so he is taken to complete a four-timer at the main expense of Compton Classic, The History Man and Bo McGinty. The selection has run up a hat-trick over both five and six furlongs just lately, all on heavy ground. Arguably he is better over the latter trip, but he has the centre draw in his favour here plus the fact that he races prominently, and he will not be stopping up front. Compton Classic was a winner at this trip at Ayr last time on good ground, and although he has handled cut in the past, he definitely appears to prefer a sound surface and so with a penalty we oppose. The History Man proved himself in bottomless ground at Beverley last time and although he has won off a mark of 69 in the past he is probably not as good now and even his claimer may not make it much easier. Of the remainder Bo McGinty probably needs a drop in the weights and has never won on ground slower than good to soft, and Prospect Court should not be deserted.
