Another handicap with the O'Meara team double-handed but we'll take them on with ALDRETH. Winner of his first two starts in the current campaign, he was strongly supported to make it three on the bounce at Beverley when failing to reel in Waterclock. There's little between them here on the book with the Easterby runner 1lb better off but the selection should be better suited by the long home straight here and can reverse placings with the O'Keeffe inmate. Corona Borealis is a fascinating contender having joined Michael Dods from Johnny Murtagh in Ireland where he boasted fair form. He's never been further than 1m5f when winning first time up for his new yard but will be a danger to all if his stamina holds out. Saved By The Bell, Big Thunder and Gabrial The Duke are of interest too.
Big Thunder 25-1 (9-0) Slowly away, took keen hold and soon mid-division on inside, lost place over 4f out, 13th of 19, 38l behind Clondaw Warrior (9-0) at Royal Ascot 2m 4f hcp 0-100 (2) gf in Jun.

Gabrial The Duke (IRE) 4-1 (9-7) Slowly into stride, in touch in mid-division, ridden 2f out, effort over 1f out, one pace, 5th of 8, 6l behind Wordiness (8-5) at Chester 2m hcp 0-85 (4) gf in Jun.
Corona Borealis 7-1 (9-4) Held up in mid-division, headway over 2f out, went 2nd inside final furlong, switched right and ran on, led close home, won at Wetherby 1m 5f hcp 0-80 (4) gd in Apr beating Be Perfect (9-6) by 1/2l, 9 ran.
