A typical York cavalry charge with endless possibilities. The likes of Pipers Note and Gran Canaria Queen have enjoyed tremendous campaigns to date but now face inevitably more challenging tasks at the weights. In contrast, Tanzeel arrives as an unexposed 4-y-o open to significant progress for a yard currently enjoying a fine time of things. He has to be taken very seriously whilst Bogart and Algar Lad are course and distance winners who continue to threaten in competitive sprint handicaps. It's another course and distance winner though in WILLBEME who gets the vote. She is up against the boys but has always gone very well on the Knavesmire and looks as good, if not better, than ever on this year's evidence. She has won with cut in the ground but is best served by quick conditions. Kimberella and See The Sun are also respected in a wide-open affair.
