Alejandro went close at Carlisle last time but it’s nearly two years since his last victory and he isn’t one to rely on, and although last year’s winner He's No Saint is on workable mark, he has been in no sort of form this term. Briardale has put in two strong performances at Newcastle this summer but whether he can reproduce that form on turf at a higher level remains open to question and the consistent Muntadab looks held by the handicapper presently, so it could pay to take a chance on INGLEBY ANGEL. He hasn’t won since moving from David O’Meara’s stable, but this mile on fast going will suit and he is on a very favourable mark.
