Book at Bedtime is of some interest on her hurdling debut, having run well in bumpers this year, and Middleton’s Minx could be competitive if she’s recovered from her Southwell fall, but preference is for ETHELWYN. She’s taken time to get the hang of things but has twice finished close up in similar events this summer and in a relatively weak race she can finally get her head in front. The consistent Angel Face should be thereabouts once again and has strong place claims.
