Mull Of Dubai can make amends in the opener, with Acropolis, Galactic Star, Futun and Mutawassel all adding to a very open handicap. Punters looking to solve this puzzle certainly have plenty of possibles to choose from, but we shall side with the in-form Mull Of Dubai who will relish any further rain. Stan Moore's four-year-old looked all over the winner at Ascot just over three weeks ago, but having shot clear with two furlongs to go, was collared on the line by the improving Group Captain. He can be considered slightly unlucky, and looks set to run a big race. Acropolis has not won for three years but ran well to be third in the Shergar Cup. He is not certain to handle any more juice in the ground, and we will take him on, while Futun was beaten on merit in the Old Newton Cup, and has plenty of weight for what he has achieved. Galactic Star was possibly still in need of the run when edged out at Newmarket, and is lightly raced. A soft ground winner at Nottingham last year, he has to be considered for a place at least, although he is not certain to contain Newmarket fourth Mutawassel on 6lb worse terms. Greek Envoy, Trezene and Invasion can all boast winning form this term, and add to a tricky contest, but we shall side with Mull Of Dubai.
