Mr Keppel is preferred to Pragmatism and Choisky. The selection has posted a fair level of form this term in much better grade and in a race that appears to lack strength in depth, he does have the benefit of form on the board to look at. Pragmatism has to be respected as a rare Brighton raider for Mark Johnston. The Middleham handler is sending out plenty of winners although the Kingmambo colt does not hold any fancy entries at this stage in his career. Choisky ran a much better race than anticipated at Kempton on the all-weather. He looks worth a try at this trip on that evidence. Spinning Ridge was well beaten on a previous attempt around here while Dream Bee's sights have been lowered since taking on the likes of Rio De La Plata earlier in the year. Art Currency raced very keenly on his debut over a mile and may be more suited by this trip. The market should offer most clues and we stick with Mr Keppel in the absence of it.
