Mark Johnson runs three with Brazilian Beach looking to have stronger form than both Capital Theory and Herbertandflorence on her second at Goodwood. But BROADSPEAR made a promising debut when runner-up at Salisbury in June and Roger Varian’s colt has most likely thrived since given a string of fancy entries including the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes. Velazquez finished in front of Hoo Ya Mal when second in testing going at Sandown and is also preferred to Skye Breeze and Dawn Of Liberation while Ryan Moore partners the latter’s stablemate Sharvara. But Vintage Choice is a half-brother to several winners with an entry in next month’s Middle Park and the Haggas colt makes most appeal of the newcomers.
