Hard to rule out any with confidence and just narrow preference is for Thunderous Mood. Had the ground been better, it would have been tempting to side with Rievaulx World. A game front-runner, he finished in-front of the selection at Goodwood but as a son of Compton Place he may not love the ground. There is no guarantee that Thunderous Mood will either, but he is likely to be a bigger price and his earlier form of his win at the track looks solid. Caranbola has a bit to find at the weights against the boys, whilst Able Master has been given a break since a good third at Epsom. He should be in the firing line throughout. Master Noverre sprang a 40/1 surprise on debut but then followed up as a well-backed favourite last time; again he is open to all sorts of improvement however we will return to Thunderous Mood with fingers crossed.
