    Verdict

The Johnston yard has won three of the last four renewals and handicap debutant Knockbrex is preferred to Hope You Can Run. Charlie Appleby also runs two with dual Wolverhampton winner Tabaretta making more appeal than High Honour, though the vote goes to CHESSPIECE (NAP). The maiden winner finished third behind Derby hope Military Order at Newbury on his reappearance and Ryan Moore’s booking takes the eye. Newcastle winner Land Legend debuts on Turf while Baltic Voyage, Torre Del Oro and Rathgar are others with scope.
