NOVAK is a much improved sprinter these days and the grey has struck up a fine partnership with his apprentice rider, William Pyle. The handicapper looks to be loosening his grip on Ghathanfar and he is respected though does need to reverse course form with Abate on their meeting here in May. Rathbone is always capable of displaying early dash and he’ll attempt to do so on this occasion. Doctor Khan Junior ran too freely on his latest outing here but Geoff Oldroyd’s gelding won readily here in May and he cannot be ruled out. Fantasy Master was weak in the market at Doncaster ahead of his most recent start but Darryll Holland’s recent recruit was more than up to the task on the racetrack.
