        Verdict

        Bajan Rebel was only beaten a neck on her debut over 5f at Catterick while In Focus was beaten the same distance at Carlisle. Both are open to improvement but Wickhambrook has a bit to prove after a modest first run at Nottingham and Uncle Bobby also need to find more. EDGE was poorly drawn on his debut at Chester last week but showed enough to suggest he has some ability and the 55,000gns son of Acclamation can open his account here. Of the newcomers Instant Attraction, who is a half-brother to a couple of winners, Right Of Appeal, also closely related to a few winners, and £50,000 yearling Rufford merit closest inspection.
