Trance gets the narrow vote in this handicap over Gee Dee Nen and Mirjan. The selection stays well and he was a cosy winner at Ayr last time. He is versatile with regards to the ground and he should run a big race. Gee Dee Nen was a beaten favourite at Goodwood last time and although he had previously been running well, he might find this race a little too hot. Mirjan returns to the level after a spin over hurdles and he will certainly be of interest if the forecast rain arrives. Beldon Hill is in-foal and she will stay all day, but she might just need the run after being off the track since February. Double Deputy is untried over this trip on the level and he has been a little disappointing of late. We are therefore happy to stick with Trance as our tentative choice.
