Newcomers Cara Bella and Red Top have to be respected considering their respective trainers ability at readying a two-year-old first time up, while Majestic Desert did nothing wrong when making a winning debut at Warwick but preference is for Oman Sea. The Barry Hills-trained filly looked in need of the run and as though she would improve greatly, not only for the experience but also for a step up in trip, when second to Vermilliann at Newmarket on her debut. The daughter of Rahy gets that now and she is the selection to go one better here. Richard Hannon, Vermilliann's trainer, saddles Red Top, a Fasliyev half-sister to among others Rag Top. She warrants respect as fellow newcomers Cara Bella and Miss Procurer. The latter, a daughter of Entrepreneur represents the stable of Paul Cole that has introduced many useful juveniles here in the past, while Cara Bella is an American-bred from the stable of David Loder, who's two-year-old horses are always worth a second look. Mick Channon's Majestic Desert will find this tougher than the Warwick race she won on her debut, while Iron Temptress does not look good enough.
