Formerly with John Gosden, Echoes In Eternity makes her debut for Godolphin but, along with Mananiyya and Hold To Ransom, is passed over in favour of Geminiani. The American-bred Echoes In Eternity is unexposed after just one outing which saw her beat nine rivals in a decent-looking fillies' maiden at Newmarket. However, Godolphin's horses do not look to be as forward as in previous seasons this year and, at the forecast odds, she represents poor value. Mananiyya is bred to appreciate further but showed enough to speed when winning over a mile at Windsor on her return last month to suggest that she can play a part here, while the more exposed Hold To Ransom is probably flattered by her proximity to Hi Dubai in the Pretty Polly last time. Geminiani makes her first start of the season having not come in her coat in time for the 1,000 Guineas but has reportedly been working well at home. Impressive on both starts as a juvenile, latterly in the Prestige Stakes for which she carries a 2lb penalty, the selection is bred to come into her own over middle distances and the daughter of King Of Kings is taken to maintain her unbeaten record.
