Kevin Ryan has landed this prize for the past three seasons so it goes without saying that Mont Kiara needs to be taken very seriously on his racecourse debut and a market check is essential. However, there are a couple here that are already more than good enough to land a decent maiden and many will be hoping for a Royal success with Husbandry who was only just denied by a Hannon hotpot last time at Salisbury. Nevertheless, we'll take the Hannon yard to spoil the party again with PAPA LUIGI. The Zoffany colt shaped well on debut at Nottingham before coming home a well-beaten sixth next time when backed into favouritism at Newbury. He was slowly away that day though and the race didn't pan out for him so he could represent a touch of value here if all goes more smoothly. The Richard Fahey pair of Novinophobia and Stylish Boy both showed promise last time and could be in the shake-up with further improvement.
