Dave Simcock has placed Oracolo expertly though the son of Cape Cross faces a very difficult task here as he's 11lb higher than his last victory and stepping up in class. My Dream Boat couldn't quite get to Grand Inquisitor at Sandown though that was over 7f and tackling this trip for the first time looks the right option. Good Contact took a fierce hold at Chester so it was no surprise when he faded over that 1m2f trip so he could go well if settling better but the vote goes to QUICK DEFENCE. Sir Michael Stoute's colt has made steady progress and though only mid-division in the Brittania at Ascot he wasn't beaten far and didn't have the run of the race.
