    Verdict

The Bear was an impressive winner on his debut and he can follow up here today at the expense of Takoda and Amber Glory. The selection was totally unfancied when beating Ace Baby in that Newcastle contest. On the face of it the form may not be that strong, however The Bear was very green in the early stages of the race and should come on leaps and bounds. Takoda was also successful last time out beating easily beating some modest rivals at Folkestone. This could be a much tougher assignment but he should be involved in the finish. Amber Glory is a model of consistency and should also be there or thereabouts, but there was a lot to like about The Bear's victory last time, and with Keiren Fallon onboard he looks the best option this afternoon
