Jonathan Josh is a rare Nicky Henderson runner here at York and he should be capable of landing first prize, Pagan Dance and Gold Ring are also expected to go well. The selection was a top class performer in the southern hemisphere. He finished just two lengths behind the winner in the Group One Mercedes Derby. The handicapper will have found it very difficult to assess this one and he could have been let in lightly. Pagan Dance looks the pick of the Amanda Perrett duo, having gone close in some top handicaps last season. The handicapper hasn't quite relented on this one yet, but he could be capable of getting into the money. Gold Ring returns from a successful spell over hurdles and doesn't look too harshly treated. Cruise Director is steadily improving and can also make his presence felt, but for the winner we return to Jonathan Josh.
