There¿s no doubt that Some Sunny Day is on form at the moment but the extra three pounds on her back might just deny the hat-trick bid and we give our vote to VERNOON, who keeps defying the assessor and can it again, with Sam Sharp also considered. The selection now has a career high mark to carry but he deserves that hike after winning twice in five starts and narrowly missing out when two pounds better off last time. He keeps finding a bit more and he can go in here. Some Sunny Day has done just enough to win his last two starts and given his improvement has come since stepping up to this trip there is a possibility he can defy his latest burden increase. Sam Sharp took advantage of this his career low mark to find just one too good last time but he seemed to do his best work late on that day so the step down in trip is not obviously ideal. Tarzan looks the one for each-way punters now just a pound above his last winning rating but Vernoon is always game and could prove a thorn in the side of the handicapper again.
