They may be drawn on opposite sides of the track but the three-year-olds MR OPTIMISTIC and Cadeaux Pearl both have decent claims in this. The latter was a little disappointing when only third at Windsor on Monday, however, so the vote goes to Richard Fahey's charge who was put up 5lb after winning at Ayr last time but is clearly still heading in the right direction.
