Richard Fahey runs three in this including last year’s winner Crownthorpe, who is only a pound higher but was behind mud-lover Alternative Fact at Haydock last time. David O’Meara has four entered and HORTZADAR has his ground again. Plantadream travelled strongly behind the top weight last month at Goodwood and is 6lb better off but he is not as well drawn here as his old rival, who is in terrific form and beat Hesslewood and Al Erayg earlier at Ripon. Stablemate Shelir is also at the top of his game while Chance was second to an improver on his reappearance at Sandown and should strip fitter today. Hajjam and Dawaaleeb have place claims again further down the weights with Garden Oasis likely to prove the pick of the Easterby trio.
