Some old rivals come into opposition for this Showcase handicap and it is no easy task in splitting Mine, Master Robbie and Royals Storm today. However, Mine has continually paid his way over the seasons and could still have a little more to offer. Will He Wish, and Celtic Mill are others to consider as they are from unfashionable yards and are thus likely to be sent off at reasonable odds for this tight little handicap. However, the booking of Kieren Fallon for the top weight is enough to merit a small stakes interest in James Bethell's charge. Fallon has teamed up to good effect with the five-year-old in the past and knows how to get the best out of this notoriously tricky customer. Like Banjo Bay, the selection's style of running always means that he will need a little bit of luck on his side, but he has the right man on board in the champion jockey to bring him through the pack to swoop late and fast today. Forever Times is also capable of getting involved but her stable have not been firing on all cylinders of late and she is best limited to speculative each way support here.
