FLOTUS edges this at the weights and a repeat of a recent third in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Ascot should see the Crisfords’ filly come out best. She had the measure of both Hala Hala Athmani and Zain Claudette at Ascot but Benefit won a Listed contest at Salisbury and is still progressing. Gale Force Maya won a handicap here last time but was beaten by Umm Kulthum in a Listed race at Newmarket earlier when Tenaya Canyon finished second and the latter was also beaten by Guilded at Ayr subsequently. Teresa Mendoza landed a Listed sprint at the Curragh recently but the Irish filly finished behind a couple of these at Haydock back in May.
