Not the most competitive mile handicap that will be staged here this season and it might be worth chancing AGGRAVATION to get the better of Solent Ridge and Astrodonna. Ryan Moore takes the mount on the selection, having ridden Astrodonna to be runner-up here last time and that may be a pointer in itself. That aside though, the David Elsworth-trained selection is back below a mark from which he last won, admittedly in June 2007, and he has his ground conditions, and connections may feel he is coming right after a break. Solent Ridge was impressive enough when scoring last time at Lingfield over this trip. A 5lb rise is not harsh given that he too has won off higher marks before and he is entitled to go close. Astrodonna has some solid enough form on her CV and the race she ran in last time was of similar standard, so she might get involved again, while King Columbo has slipped in the weights and has his best chance since landing his maiden, so money for him might be of interest, but we'll take Aggravation to score.
