Verdict

Night Moment won easily at Musselburgh before failing to land the odds under a penalty back at the same track and looks worth taking on with MAKER OF LIGHT. The latter debuted over 6f at Newbury but is a full-brother to a winner over today’s trip and Roger Varian’s colt is also preferred to Newcastle fourth Alpine Springs. The newcomers look nothing special on breeding with Sugauli and Hemsworth perhaps proving best and Vivid Imagination preferred of the Osborne runners.
