John Best is among the winners and he can saddle another one in AGENT ARCHIE, who is just preferred to Mejd, Epic and Silent Majority. The selection won a reasonable Goodwood maiden when last seen in September and should appreciate this extra furlong. A mark of 75 looks reasonable and his decent 5lb claimer is a bonus, so we will side with him. Mejd has had a number of chances and went well in defeat at Wolverhampton last time. Again, this step up in trip is also a plus and the Desert Style colt should go well on ground that might be ideal. Epic will relish hearing his hooves rattle and stayed on well when tried over this trip for the first time at Lingfield last month. From a 1lb higher mark on his return to turf he is feared today. Silent Majority will be better for a pipe-opener here last month and should be better suited by conditions today, while Amno Dancer is very interesting now stepped up markedly in trip and a market check is advised. Agent Archie is the one for us.
