Gran Dana, Fuss and Nantucket Sound are the three we like in another competitive handicap and the nomination is given to Nantucket Sound. This four-year-old was disappointing last time but he is stepped-up to a much more suitable trip today. He ran really well when last seen over this kind of distance and he could prove to be the value call today. Gran Dana finished narrowly behind our selection last time over a shorter trip than this, and there are doubts over whether today's test of stamina will suit. Fuss is interesting as she is lightly-raced and will definitely have the stamina to be effective over today's trip. In fact we will oppose her on this occasion as she has given the impression that an even bigger test of stamina would see her at her best so, although she could go well, she may be best watched until she is stepped back up in trip. Redspin is a course and distance winner who wasn't beaten all that far at Warwick last time, so he could go well at a price, but Nantucket Sound should relish every yard of this trip and is given the vote.
